k-Eco Knighton’s recommendation for products that offer sustainability values in use. Our k-Eco range will continually develop as new products enter the market and existing products improve. EU Ecolabel Awarded by the European Union to products that meet a set of agreed environmental criteria during their life cycle, including emissions, energy consumption, waste and water pollution during production, environmental risk of hazardous chemicals and use of recycled or virgin materials from sustainable forestry. The Nordic Swan Established by the Nordic Council of Ministers for the Nordic countries, the label sets out strict criteria in all phases of a product life cycle and the chemicals used. Evans Greentick A label developed by Evans Vanodine for monitoring the impact of their own products on the environment in terms of formulation, manufacture, use and disposal. FSC label Paper products that show the FSC label on their packaging have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, meaning the wood used is harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious and economically viable.
